I just found out today that The founder of Creation Science Evangelism ministries http://www.drdino.com  in Pensecola Florida, and Dinosaur adventure land, Dr. Kent Hovind a.k.a. Dr. Dino went to Prison for Tax evasion.

 I called Creation Science Evangelism Ministries today, and they confirmed it. Dr. Hovind will be serving a 10 year sentence, with three years probation. He chose not to file 501(c)3 status because he didn't want the government to tell him what to preach, and due to this his ministry was NOT TAX EXEMPT. However, he refused to pay taxes or take out taxes on his employees, due to his religious convictions. (He did not support his tax money going to support Evolution, or Abortion) and as a result was convicted on January 19th of this year. His son Eric is taking over the work of his father, and will continue the ministry doing debates and seminars. Please pray for Kent and the Hovind family, as they continue to carry on Gods work. 

Disclaimer: I do not necessarily agree with the personal decisions of Kent Hovind and his ministry, however I think that most of his information on Creation and the Bible is Factual, and correct. I have seen Dr. Hovind in person, and have supported his ministry for years and will continue to do so, despite his personal decisions, and his current conviction. 

These are the top ten best ways to make God mad at you. I do not suggest doing them.

1. Serve another God other than the one true God. (Like Mammon, Thor, Zeus, Ishtar, or better yet Satan)

2. Make yourself an Idol and bow down to it. (You know, like a golden calf, or the almighty dollar)

3. Use his name in a way that is disrespectful. Like when you stub your toe, say "Jesus Christ!" or "Great God Jehovah that hurts!"  

4. Work on Sunday. Do everything you need to get done, don't go to church, and whatever you do don't rest, or reverence God on the Sabbath. This is always the best day to remodel or mow the lawn.

5. Disrespect your parents, curse them, call them names, don't listen to what they tell you, don't do anything good for them ever, and don't be around when they need you for something.

6. Kill people in cold blood. Take your gun to work or school, and have at it. Or just have an abortion.

7. Get married, and then sleep with as many women as possible other than your wife, or just look at women and lust after them in your heart, which is the same as the physical act according to Jesus. 

8. Steal. Take everything from everyone. Rip people off the best you can.

9. Tell as many lies as possible. Never tell the truth. Only make up stories, especially when it involves getting other people in trouble for something they didnt do.

10. Keep up with the Jones'. Try to get everything your neighbor has, and do not be satisfied until you do. Desire or Covet everything that is your neighbors, including his wife, and his ass, and everything that is thy neighbors.  

If you do any of these things, you are guaranteed to make God mad.

 This is just my opinion, but I think that it could possibly be bad (for me or anyone) to have a Myspace. I do not have one, and I don't intend on getting one. The advertisements on there are horrible, and the Bible says that if you cause someone to stumble, it would be better for you to have a millstone wrapped around your neck and for you to be drowned in the depths of the ocean. Psalm 101:3 says "I will set no wicked (Hebrew says Evil or useless) thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." KJV  and If you look at a woman (or man) to lust after him (or her) in your heart, you have already committed adultery with them. Looking is the same as the act. 

 Also based on this same scripture, my wife and I do not watch rated -R- and sometimes Rated -PG-13- Movies, we usually go to http://www.pluggedinonline.com to read the Christian reviews before we watch anything. We also do not listen to most secular music, only Christian and mostly Worship, we do not have Cable, when we get online we are accountable to each other and as for Video Games, I still play some, but I would never pick up Grand Theft Auto again, or Doom ext. We are very selective about what we watch, hear, and set before us. We are supposed to be lights, how can we be light if we are doing everything the world is doing in darkness? Just some thoughts.

 A. The way that Geologists, and Paleontologists determine the age of a fossil is by what layer of the GEOLOGIC COLUMN it is in.

 B. The way they tell the age of the layer, is by the fossils that are in the layer.

 Have we been Bamboozled into believing that the earth is Billions of years old, when maybe its not?

        All transitional (Ape to Human) fossils ever found to date have been discredited.

NASA & THE BIBLE

Thought this was pretty amazing and interesting!

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called "myth " in the Bible is true?

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following development.

I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland.

They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now.. We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.

They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it ! came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out, and they said, 'What's wrong?' Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads and tore their hair out.. There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School, and they talked about the sun standing still.' While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us, '

He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense.'!
There they found the Lord saying to Joshua,

'Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before Thee.'

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right... 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!'

(Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, There is the missing day! They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes . not a whole day.

They read the Bible,! and there it was about [approximately] a day. These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1000 years from now.

Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?' !


Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees. Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!

Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." -KJV Holy Bible- I believe that the Bible is Literal, that it is a History book, and that it is good for Exhortation, for Rebuke and For teaching. It was written by Holy Men as they were moved upon by the Holy Spirit.

 Jesus Christ fulfilled at least over 400 prophesies in the old testament. There were at least 500 documented, reliable, eyewitness accounts of the resurrection. They were from all walks of life. Matthew was a Tax Collector, Luke was a Doctor, Peter was a Fisherman, and Paul was a Roman Soldier that killed thousands of Christians. Surely Paul would lie. All these people and Billions of others, including myself bear witness to the TRUTH. This is it.

 We are all SINNERS, guilty of HELL. The Bible says that ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. God sent his son JESUS CHRIST to die on the cross as the sacrifice for our SIN. The Bible says that NO MAN comes unto the Father but by him. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. There is a Heaven and there is a Hell. I'm not saying that you should give your life to Jesus so that you can go to heaven, but I serve him because he is worthy no matter what, whether I go to Hell at the end of the road or not, HE IS WORTHY and he deserves the reward of his suffering. Romans say that if you believe in your Heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, and that He rose from the dead, and confess with your mouth that he is the Lord then you will be saved. For with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, and when you get saved then you become RIGHTEOUS and HOLY. There is nothing like a REAL walk with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Does anybody know what I'm talkin' about?

 ACTS 2:38 "Repent and be baptized everyone of you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

What is the standard?

Holiness. Plain and simple.

The Bible says :

 It is very Hard to walk upright before God in this day and age. Especially in Modern Day America. You cant sit down to watch TV, listen to the radio, walk down the street, or get on the internet without being bombarded with a bunch of FILTH! It is ridiculous.I think that it is time for the SALT OF THE EARTH to stand up and be counted, for the LIGHT OF THE WORLD to start shining brighter than ever before. I challenge you to today, to stand up and say "Yes, Jesus I will do what you want me to, I WILL LIVE HOLY." Will you do that?

Is the Doctrine of Christianity more Valid than the Doctrine of Atheism?

So here is my stance:

I don't have any evidence against God's existence,
but that doesn't mean I should therefore, believe in God.

We should only believe in something when there are evidence for it,
and this is why I opened this entry.

So far, I haven't found any evidence for God,
but since there are billions are believers,
surely, there are some evidences, right?

So please leave your thoughts here.

The doctrine of Christianity as well as the doctrine of Atheism, both are a religion. You have to have FAITH to believe both of them. I believe that there is STRONG evidence for Christianity unlike evolution etc., however. For instance, archeologists believe that they have really found Noah's Ark http://www.pilgrimpromo.com/WAR/ . Also, most of the ancient sites talked about in the Bible actually exist, except for a few like Sodom and Gomorrah because DUH!! God really did destroy them. There is a good book called "The case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. You should read it, it talks about all of the evidence that supports the Case for the Bible and Jesus, from a Non- Believers standpoint. I think the guy actually got saved as a result of trying to prove that there was no God. I believe in the Bible and in God, because when I was 15 years old the convicting power of God came into the basement bedroom of my parents house as I watched Billy Graham on TV and I knew in my heart that I was a sinner guilty of hell. That night the Power of God (The Holy Manifestation of his Presence) that Moses talked about, came into my room; and I fell to my knees and asked Jesus Christ into my heart. From that day forward I have always known...........................HE IS REAL.........So, what does that mean for you?

and, The whole point I was saying is that most of the Scientific Evidence that is found proves that the Bible is true. There is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER to prove that Evolution is true, or the Big Bang. It is a theory in which can not be proven, which in my opinion makes it a Religion. I think it takes more Faith to believe that there is no God than to believe that there is one. Creation itself points to the Creator. I think that the REAL REASON people choose not to believe in God is because if he really exists, and the Bible is really true then we cant act like monkeys, and do whatever we want because it is SIN. Everyone knows that according to the Bible we are all going to be judged, and if we have not accepted Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sins and REPENT (or turn away from them and become HOLY, or RIGHTEOUS), then we are going to go to HELL. Aka The Lake of Fire, aka a place of outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, and eternal torment. If you are right and there is no God then I say this, at least I treated people good, at least I helped others, at least I feel good about the way I lived my life. Can you say that? If not, just ask yourself, what if I am right?

About creation and evolution, I disagree that the conflict is unnecessary myself, because I believe that the Theory of Evolution and the Big Bang are part of the cause of unbelief in the Bible. If you believe that we are here by happenstance, or that we Evolved from monkeys then that means we are not accountable by God for SIN and can act like animals if we want to. I believe that the Bible is a Factual, Literal, History book that is written by Holy men as they were moved upon by the Holy Spirit not a STORY BOOK or a POEM and that it is good for exortation, for rebuke, and for teaching.

 FACTOID: The word Universe is made up of two parts (uni-verse)  

 Uni = One

 Verse = Spoken Sentence.   

 So then Universe is a single spoken sentence. Sounds like the Bible to me.     God spoke and bang it happened.

 My question to you is, if the Big Bang really happened Where did all the matter come from? Or how did it start spinning. Where did the energy come from? This thinking contradicts the Laws of Nature.

The First Law of Thermodynamics (Conservation) states that energy is always conserved, it cannot be created or destroyed. In essence, energy can be converted from one form into another.
