Luke 6:27-36:

 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

 Have you ever had someone borrow something from you, ask you for something, and not give it back or give it back broken or in worse condition than when you gave it to them?

 Have you ever had someone punch you in the face?

Despitefully use you? Well Jesus said that if they ask us for something we are supposed to give it to them and expect nothing in return. If we get punched in the right cheek, we need to give them the other one. We are supposed to pray for and do good for our enemies and anyone and everyone that asks anything of us.

 This is the calling of a Disciple, this is the Love of Jesus. If we do it like he said, our reward will be great in heaven.

 Have you ever had a hard time loving someone like Jesus said for us to?

My whole point in all of this is that a lot of biblical prophecy has already been fulfiulled, not to say that it cannot happen again or that it might be cyclic but it doesnt have to happen for Jesus to come back. I think that all of this is good evidence for a post trib view of the End Times.

 Has the Abomination of Desolation been fullfilled?

 I was just pondering this thaught yesterday, but I wonder if Luke’s medical practitioning changed after he met Jesus. Did he continue to give people pills, tonics, remedies, and herbal concoctions? Or did he just pray for everyone to be healed after that? I don’t know myself but I imagine it would be interesting to find out if there was a Chronicles of Luke or a diary hidden somewhere that would give us more information into this interesting possibility.

 I just thought that it might be fun to have a whole blog entry devoted to what God has done for us. I guess since it is my blog I will start with me.

 On March 9th 1995 God saved my soul during a Billy Graham Crusade on television. It was a school night and my Dad had told me to go to bed, so I did. But not before sneaking to turn on my television like I often did. My grandpa was in the hospital with congestive heart failure and he almost died. That same night that I gave my life to Jesus, I asked him to heal my grandpa and he did. He lived over ten more years after that!

 Then I backslid when I went to college, and I didn’t graduate as a result. I got drunk for the first time, got high for the first time and I lost my virginity but God didn’t give up on me. One day I was going to class hung over and there was a Gideon passing out bibles outside of my dorm. I was so convicted that I repented, packed up all of my things and came home. God delivered me from the addiction and bondage of Cigarettes, Pornography, and Perversion.

 God blessed me with an awesome godly wife in 2004.

 and I have seen God do many miracles also, besides my grandpa being healed.

 My Aunt was healed from a malignant, cancerous brain tumor.

 My pet toy fox terrier Mickey got ran over by a car, he couldn’t walk and he had blood coming out his nose and ears, and I laid my hand on him and asked Jesus to heal him and he did. After I took him to the vet to get checked out he was running around the house playing with my siblings.

 Not to mention the times that my wife and I didn’t have any money, or food, and God provided them for us.

 Our God truly is an awesome God!

 Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I repent, please forgive me for my sin, come into my heart and show me your awesome love and power. I pray that you would help me to be born again and fill me with your precious Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen.

 James 3: 1-13 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.  Yes, I believe in Backsliding aka losing one’s salvation. The Bible says that sin separates us from God. Therefore every time we sin (Break one of God’s commands) we are separated from God and doomed for Hell unless we genuinely repent and do not continue in that sin. Romans 10:9-10 says that we obtain salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ and by confessing him before men. After we become saved if we continue in sin, then we are no longer confessing Jesus before men. The way to tell a Born Again Christian from a sinner is by their fruit. Jesus said if we loved him that we would love our neighbor and keep his commandments. That means that we are literally Born Again. We are become new creatures, all has passed away and behold all things have become new.

 Ezekiel 18: 27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

 Psalm 119: 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

 Proverbs 14: 9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

 Proverbs 14: 34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

 Romans 6: 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law but under grace. 18. Being then made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness.

 Hebrews 10: 26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins…….

 I John 3: 8-9 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

 Galatians 5: 1-5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

 Are you tired of compromise? Tired of riding the fence? Being Lukewarm? I know I am and I have been. I believe in backsliding, not eternal security because of my own personal experience and through my own study of God’s Holy word.  It seems to me that it is pretty hard to tell the difference between the Holy, Righteous, Victorious, New Testament church that Jesus talked about, from the world these days. People want to fulfill their agendas, please their flesh, and do whatever they want to, whenever they want to, and not suffer any consequences for their actions. But that is not what the scriptures say.

  John 3: 3-7 says that we must all be born again  if we are not we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

 John 3: 17-21 says that those that love the darkness and do evil, hate the light because they refuse to repent.

 Luke 16 says that we are all called to be good stewards and if we are not, we will go to Hell like the Rich man.

 Luke 14: 34-35 “Salt is good: but if the salt has lost its savior, wherewith will it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill, but men cast it out.”

Matthew 24 says that we are to watch and be ready at all times, because we do not know the day or the time when the Lord will return. We are to be sober and diligent to heed the Lords warning that in the last days he will come upon us like a thief in the night.

 Never heard this stuff before? John 5:39 says search the scriptures; for in them you find eternal life.

 I think its time to take the trash out of the Church. What do you think?

 Well a couple of updates:

 1. Chanda’s Mom is back to work and doing well.

 2. Chanda started a new job with Americorps Vista and the Ohio Benefit Bank.

 3. We had a booth promoting the Benefit Bank and the Salvation Army, and raised almost $500 for the local food pantry over the Holiday.

 4. I have an interview at the Gas Station here in town. Please pray that I get the job.
