Sanctification - The goal of this life. The process in which someone becomes righteous or holy.

 The Bible says that “there are none righteous, no not one.” Romans 3:10, but it does say that we are to strive to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect Matt 5:48 and ”be ye therefore Holy even as I am Holy”.Leviticus 11:45

 Who shall ascend the Hill of God? Who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall obtain the blessing of the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:2-5

 Why would God say we could obtain it if we can’t? 

 In my experience as a Christian it is a process that I have not yet obtained. I am in a better place now, than I was when I first got saved, but I am aiming for the mark, of the high calling of God. I don’t know of anyone who has obtained it, but that is my goal, and I will not be satisfied until I reach it.  

 Is it possible to become Holy? What are your thoughts on it?

 What is the Fear of the Lord?

 It is mentioned many times in the Bible and it is a holy reverence, respect, or revelation of Hell, and eternal judgement/punishment for sin. It also leads to obedience, righteousness, and holiness also referred to as sanctification and is or should be an elementary, fundamental teaching in the body of Christ.

Hebrews 6:1-3 – Eternal Judgement foundational teaching.

 The manifestations of the Fear of the Lord at work in someones life is:

- They obey him instantly.

- They do what he tells them even if it doesn’t make sense to them.

- They do God’s will even if it hurts.

- They do it even if it doesn’t benefit them.

- They Obey Completely

- Them that Fear the Lord keep his commandments all the time, always. Deut 5:29

- Those that live righteous in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

 People that call Jesus Lord and do contrary to his word and his will are deceived. James 1:26

 What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?  Every Believer is a Disciple. It is not a special calling.

 It means that you are giving your life, everything that you have, everything that you are to the Lord to do with as he wills, so that he can get the glory out of your life whether or not you go to hell at the end of the road or not. It means giving up your selfish dreams and ambitions, wants and desires so that he can use us for whatever he wants. For his will, and his glory. To establish his kingdom on earth. You know, like the Lord’s Prayer “Thy kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.” To heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, to cast out devils, to raise the dead, to preach the gospel in season and out of season, to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. This is the Great Commission and this is the calling of every believer that ever stepped foot on this earth.

 Disciples are ready to die literally, and metaphorically to lay down their lives for the sake of the gospel. They are willing to pack up and move at a moments notice, to sell everything they have, and even to pay the ultimate price. They are a peculiar people that walk by faith and not by sight. This is the hardest but most fulfilling thing that anyone could become, and it is worth it.   

 Fulfill the great commission. = Go into all the world and preach the gospel. Heal the Sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely ye have received, freely give. 

 This is what God spoke to me when I was at The International House of Prayer a.k.a. (IHOP) http://www.ihop.org . He also told me that I needed to have Faith like a child. This I believe is also a word for every believer.

 Just got back, and boy am I tired! I drove 13 hours straight from Clinton Missouri today. Chanda and I went to Topeka Kansas to visit our friend Carrie, and meet her fiance’. We left on Faith, with just enough money to get there, and God provided for the whole trip. We were really blessed by Carrie and her Mom Krystal (Thank You everyone), Chanda’s Dad, and all of our friends. We got to see Chanda’s sister Denise and her husband Craig.  We got to go to IHOP in Kansas City, the International House of Prayer. It was awesome! We got to go and worship and soak in the presence of God twice!  Praise the Lord.  http://www.ihop.org

 Please Pray for Topeka, for Revival. There are several strongholds there such as:

Homosexuality, Lust, Perversion, Hate, and Anger. Maybe more. Topeka, is where the pentecostal movement originated, and the school mascot is the Icobods. That can be interpreted to mean the Glory has departed. It feels like it too.
