   The last year or so has been really hard for me, Since last October I have lost four Grandparents. I am very glad however that three of my Grandpa’s ended up giving their life to Jesus just before they died. My Grandma Polly Burchett was saved long before I was ever born, and I remember going to church with her since I was little. I am glad that one day I will see all of my Grandparents again just over on the other side of Jordon.

   I have been off of work with Tennis Elbow in both elbows and found out that I have Mild Carpletunnel in my right hand. I have really been hit hard in every direction and it doesnt really seem that an end to my trouble is in sight. Please keep me in your prayers. I feel that my current situations however have drawn me closer to Jesus, and closer to my wife Chanda. God is showing me how to pull on him and put all of my trust in him, I feel that God is wrecking me, strengthening me, and doing something new in me. I just hope that if I keep my eyes on Jesus, that even though the storm is all around me, I will be able to step out of the boat, and do what he told me to do (walk on the water).  – Derek -
