  • Thank you intercessors!

Chanda’s Mom is back home now. Her foot is finally healing and the steroids they put her on are helping her breathing get better too. Thank you to all of you who have been keeping Deb and me and my wife in your prayers. Be blessed! -Bro Derek-

P.S. Please keep praying that I would find a new job. Thanks.

  • Keep Praying!

Chandas Mom Deb had to go back into the hospital the other night due to a fever. When they arrived at the hospital they removed her cast and found that her foot was infected where they had done the surgery and they think it may have entered her bones. The results of an MRI also indicated a blood clot or pnemonia on her lungs which is why she has been having trouble breathing. Please keep praying for her complete and swift recovery and that her HMO will not send her back to a nursing home where she cannot get the proper treatment she needs. Thanks.

  • The Provider

I just wanted to take a minute to share about my experience with God as my provider. In 2006 there were three or four months something like April, May, June, and part of July I think that my wife and I did not have work, and were not receiving any type of compensation, or pay. Guess what. God came through. We have almost  $1,000 in bills every month maybe a little more, not including gas for our vehicle, and other living expenses and all of it was taken care of! Even though times are hard now, I know because of my experience that I can REALLY trust God.

About two weeks ago, I made a list of things that Chanda and I needed. It was something like this:

Rent, Cellphone Bill, Insurance, Gas Money.

Hamburger, Chicken, Oatmeal, Coffeemate, Tomatoes Juice, Pop, Coffee, Butter, Bread.

    Deodorant, Bodywash, Toiletpaper.

I asked for a tiller to till a garden and for plants for a garden and for a lawnmower because my old one broke down.

Within about a week,  the things I had asked God for began coming in. From different people, and different sources and it was awesome! It was a miracle because I know that God had led those people to help us out. Our landlords let us use their tiller, and my Dad gave me a mower for free! Let me tell you, you really can trust God.

Mark 11:24 “….what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Matthew 6:23-34 The Lilies of the Valley

Take no thought for tomorrow. What you shall eat, what you shall drink, what you shall wear.

If God feeds the sparrow, he will feed you. If God clothes the Lily, he will clothe you.

How much more important are you than the Sparrows and the Lilies?

This is a promise. You can stand on it, and take it to the bank!

The only condition is in v.33

Seek first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, then all these things will be added unto you.

So if you are living right, then you don’t have anything to fear because God has not given us a spirit of Fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

  • Urgent need for prayer!

Please pray for Chanda’s Mom Deb. She had surgery yesterday on her Achilles Tendon. She spent the night at the hospital last night, and she will be spending the night there again tonight. It was supposed to be an outpatient surgery or at least a short stay I think. Deb said that the pain was an 11 on a pain scale of 1 to 10. She said that it was worse than child birth. They have been giving her Morphine every hour and she is afraid that they may have done something wrong. Thanks.

  • Direction

I need it. I thought all along that it was God’s will for me to go back to work at Honda. Now that I lost my job on April 10th I don’t know what to do. I still have restrictions on my elbows, and they still hurt when I do stuff. Even though I haven’t received any pay or compensation for a little over a month now, our rent is paid, and we have been blessed with the necessities of life. Please pray for God to guide and direct me and that he would show us the next step. Thanks.
