I guess I was wrong, but there is always John McCain.
Sadly, Mike Huckabee dropped out of the race last week after John McCain got the delegates he needed. I feel that it is all the medias fault. The way that they never gave Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul or any of the other conservative republican candidates a fair shot. They never gave them as much air time as Hillary and Obama, and their strategy paid off. I guess that is what happens when big companies or corporations buy out all the little guys and make a monopoly out of the printing presses and the newsrooms that we get our biased information from. And we all take it hook, line, and sinker. We actually believe that on the first night of the primaries that Mitt Romney was ahead of Mike Huckabbee when he wasn’t. But that is what CBS and Katie Couric told us. But we found out when Mitt Romney was behind in delegates the next day when he dropped out. Well some of us figured it out and some didn’t. Anyhow, I am still going to vote. And I am going to vote for John McCain. He was my last choice next to Sam Brownback, and Mike Huckabee but he is still a conservative and he is still republican and his voting record lines up with my morals and values. But if my passion about this election is gone, I don’t know why.

I know why. We all hoped :sunny: maybe we would have someone we could really believe in to send to the white house. Unfortunately, all our favorites have dropped out……..:( yes, we are sad…… But we still have our prayers. The scripture tells us to pray for our government leaders….. (even if we didn’t vote for them).
I have never trusted the media which is why I listen when possible to people like Rush.
It may be sad for Mike Huckabee, to be gone, but a minister in politics is possibly the wrong place. Too many good guys get corrupted by power.
It is certainly an interesting race with Obama and Hillary. No I ain’t a demo, nor would I ever support Hillary. But If Hillary got in I believe Prophecy would be fulfilled, and the end wouldn’t be far away.
Sooner or later America is going to have a woman president. Been a prophecy I have heard of since 1933.
So this is an exciting election coming up. We’ll see where the next few months take us.
Control the media, control the people. I’m a huge Ron Paul supporter, and I am outraged at how he and similiar candidates were treated by the media. It happens time after time. When will our nation learn to do their own research, and stop relying on biased media corperations who continually twist or even avoid the truth?
I understand. In reality Mike did exceedingly well – just not good enough. He and Romney spoiled each other. I’m not sure, frankly, how McCain came back. I’m really curious how that happened.
LIBERAL MEDIA IS HOW JOHN MCCAIN CAME BACK. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO PROMOTED HIM. THEY KEPT SAYING THAT HE WAS THE ONE THAT COULD WIN THE THE WHITE HOUSE FROM THE DEMS. BUT REALLY THEY THINK THEY CAN BEAT HIM. HE REALLY IS NOT A CONCERVATIVE. I JUST WANT TO SEE HOW HE IS GOING TO BRIDGE THE GAP WITH CONSERVATIVES. LISTEN TO SEAN HANNITY.
The reason McCain got all the momentum was because of independents and moderates. New Hampshire and Virginia both had open primaries, which allowed them to come in and vote for the Republican candidate for President. If it was only Republicans voting, McCain would have been squashed right at the beginning. But because he won those two states up front, the media painted it as if the Republicans loved McCain and that is why he won those states. If the independents had not meddled with our nomination and if the media had rightly reported on it, our candidate would have doubtless been Huckabee or Romney.
Hello Mr. Wilson,
You worked hard to make your site simple yet elegant. The music player and videos are a nice touch. I see that you expect elected officials to save the world. Actually, it will take an act of God! Not just any old god, but the one true God, Jehovah. He has an important message for all of us: 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. (Psalms 91:7-8) (NIV)
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site to help people to really get to know what God’s plans are for us, especially in these troubled times. I hope you get a chance to look at them.
Man of God! How are you doing?
