Vote Mike Huckabee for President
Since Sam Brownback dropped out of the Presidential Race last month I have been searching and praying for another candidate that might just fit the bill. Well, I think I have, and I don’t know if you have heard of him or not but his name is Mike Huckabee. Please check out his stance on the important issues, do some research, and hopefully you will come up with the same conclusion that I have. Mike Huckabee is a man fit for the office of President of the United States.

I AM WITH YOU BROTHER! WE NEED A MAN OF GOD IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
I don’t know if you are from Arkansas, but I have been very unpleased with Huckabee towards the end of his term as Governor. He was doing great, but then at the end just didn’t make decisions that were all that great. I am a Conservative Christian and I will probably vote for the man, but deep down I wish there was a better candidate. There’s my two cents. lol
Well, I’m not old enough to vote yet, but I am praying that our next president is a man of God. Also, I thoroughly enjoy your xanga!

I must admit I am torn between Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul. Both are followers of Christ.
I think many Christians are however caving to the so called *electables*. I liken this to choosing David’s older brothers to whoop Goliath’s toucus only to find that the long shot-youngest one-least from everybody’s mind-kind of guy is the right one after all! Listen to God not the talkingheads!!!!
I believe God will choose the man/woman that will be our next President, as He is soverign and will choose who will achive His purpose.
But we must pray, seek his face, and be led by what he tells us.
What kind of rights does he stand for?
What does the Bible reveal on this issue? Are we to align ourselves with the world? Do we cast a vote for the lesser of two evils or do we just refrain from being a part of the political arena? Do we save the world through man’s political ideals or by preaching God’s word? What Biblical model do we have for Christians being joined together with unbelievers? What role does God tell us as believers to do? If all the candidates were for abortion, who would you vote for?
Something to consider: To be involved in politics is to compromise God’s Word. One cannot be involved with such an organization without lying, cheating and stealing, all of which violates God’s Word. It is my stance, that we as believers in Christ, are to be separate from the world and to be
involved in pray and preaching the gospel, not politics. Again…. where is the Biblical precedent?
Keep the Faith! ~Daniel
Daniel, I humbly respect your opinion and I agree that we are to be in the world but not of the world. However, I disagree that we as Christians should stay out of the political arena I think if we just stand by and let the secular humanists, or the abortionists, or the gay and lesbians take over the country then we are accountable for that and we have no right to complain about it when we lose our rights as a result. The whole reason George W. Bush got elected is because all the Conservative Christians came out to vote. I agree with our founding fathers.
“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” -John Jay-
