The doctor called today and said that there were “Tiny pockets of air bubbles which indicate a serious infection.” indicated by the Cat Scan. He said that if her fever gets over 100.0, or if there are any signs of redness, or the site gets warmer that we need to bring Chanda in to drain the pockets. That means reopening her inscision again, for the third time, or making new ones to get the job done. They do this while she is awake with minimal pain medicine and numbing. Please continue to pray, that she would not get any of the signs above so that she would not have to go back in but that she would be completely healed from the root cause. We believe that the prayers and the antibiotics have been working because she has been steadily feeling better. -Derek-

I think that the worst thing in the world is COMPROMISE. I see so many people who claim to be Christians, who have lost their passion because of it. The Bible says that when we are saved we are to become a new creature, the old things are passed away, and all things become new. We are the light of the world, if we be dark how can we bring someone to the light? We are the glory of God, and it is made to dwell inside of us. That only happens when we give up our sinful nature to walk in holiness, and righteousness. I am not all that, and I admit I’m not there yet, but like the Apostle Paul I have decided to take up my cross and follow Jesus. Despite Persecution. Despite all the attacks of the Devil. I have decided, I will watch, I will be ready, I will not compromise. Will you?      -Derek-

Thank You to everyone who has been praying for Chanda and I.

Pray for Chanda.

She went to the doctor on Wednsday and they think that she may still have a Staff infection or some sort of infection. They put her on two different antibiotics that are considered the BIG GUNS and are doing some blood work and having her get a Cat Scan. She has still been having a fever, and pain, and is continueing to have hard spots around her wound. The Bible says that if two or more agree on anything in the Name of Jesus that it WILL be done. So I just ask that you would agree with me in the Name of Jesus, that Chanda would be healed. Thank you. -Derek-

P.S. The wound vac is off now. Praise God!

Chanda had a hysterectomy on March 8th after a long battle of uterine cancer. She has been back to the hospital several times since her surgery with complications. They think that she may have a Staff Infection, or at least some kind of infection and if her temperature gets above 102.0 they will want her to come back into the hospital again to open the wound back up, and possibly put a drain in.  Thank you for your prayers.

 Happy Anniversary!   -May 5th- 

 Rain. Rain. Rain. It rained all day Saturday, but Chanda and I went to P.F. Changs for Dinner on Sunday and went to the park where we got married. We have been married for 3 wonderful years!

  We are getting ready to plant this years garden, Praise the Lord! We are going to have Lettuce, Carrots, Onions, Beans, Tomatoes, and Green peppers Lord willing, if we can fit all of that in our little tilled piece of earth. We would love to have lots more but our space is pretty limited, but we are thankful for what we have. 

 -Please continue praying for Chanda, she has still been running a fever and she has still been having a lot of pain. She has a doctors appt on wednsday. We’ll keep you updated. -Derek-
